We have three cats and when I found Simon the Cat videos on Youtube I had to share. You want to know the personality of our cats, watch the video. This hits too close to home!
Stuff about me...
Age: 36
Birthplace: Prince William County, VA. (suburb of Washington, D.C.) Grew up in mountains of Southwest VA.
Family: 1 Beautiful wife, two LOUD corgi dogs, 3 insane cats...yeah it's a pretty normal home.
Biggest accomplishment: Besides somehow talking the most beautiful woman in the world into becoming my wife, (sorry Suzy Bogguss) my biggest, Accepting Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.
What I'd do if I won the lottery: Lose the ticket...probably....
If I weren't on the radio, I'd be: Doing whatever else God chooses to lay in front of me.
Favorite website: They're always changing. Right now it's heritage.org , wikipedia.org (love useless knowledge) AND youtube.com. Finding old Bugs Bunny and Tom and Jerry cartoons, original and uncut makes me very happy.
What I want that I don't have: Zero-turn radius lawnmower. Preferably at least a 54 inch cut with cup holders.
Favorite advice or quote: "Depends on what part of the country your from as to how ignorant you are." Smoky And The Bandit.
Favorite TV Shows: Mythbusters, Mike Rowe's Dirty Jobs, a lot of Science Channel stuff, until they go off on one of there "the planet's about to be destroyed by man's actions" jags. Also let's not forget 24, (Jack Bauer for President!!)
First Album I bought: Waylon Jennings "Music Man". The album that had the Dukes Of Hazzard theme song on it. (cut 3 on side A)...still remember after all these years.
Latest book: Uhhh, what's a book... In all seriousness, I'm reading more. I try to always read my Bible every day. (don't always succeed) I also love history so I'm reading a book about our founding fathers beliefs on the seperation of church and state, which by the way is NOT in the Constitution, it stems from a series of private letters Thomas Jefferson wrote. The actual words in the First Amendment of the Constitution read as follows: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof. . . ." We're suppose to have the guarantee of freedom OF religion, NOT from religion.
Inspiration:
While I rely on many different scriptures, the one that sums it up for me when it comes to my relationship with Jesus is Galatians 2:20 "I am crucified with Christ, therefore it is no longer I, but Christ, who lives in me: and the life which I now live in this physical body, I live by the faith of the Son of God"
